This series has been designed to provide a general overview of the information on the species of frogs who currently reside in the Great Lakes region of Ontario. The following lists the groups inhabiting the local area. Click on a species to access detailed information on their range of habitat, their appearance and their behaviour. The page for each species includes the sound of the calls of the animals. It will be played for approximately six seconds when you select a page. The animals you hear calling right now are a chorus of spring peepers.
