CURRENT RESEARCH PROJECTS

1. Laboratory Investigations of DNAPL fingering in heterogeneous porous media. This is collaborative research grant with Dr. Shlomo P. Neuman, University of Arizona. Funded by USEPA.

2. Effects of surfactants on vadose zone flow, transport, and instrumentation. Funded by NSERC Research Operating and Equipment grants.

3. Investigation of the unsaturated flow properties of drained peat and the regional hydrogeology of Wainfleet Bog. This is collaborative research with Dr. Allan Crowe, Project Chief of the Interated Watershed Modelling Group of NWRI, CCIW Burlington, ON. This research is partially funded by the Niagara Conservation Authority.
