Thesis Summary:

Thesis Title: Microbial Ecology of floc Fe-Metabolizing Bacteria: Implications for Trace Element Biogeochemistry

Project summary
The objective of  my doctoral research is to elucidate and characterize linkages among floc-associated bacteria, floc-reactive solid phases and trace element  concentrations across a spectrum of aquatic systems as well as between differing compartments and seasons.
