Social Acitivities
There are many social activities for undergraduate students in the School of Geography and Earth Sciences. The School has an active undergraduate society - GESS - McMaster Undergraduate Geography and Earth Sciences Society. GESS organizes many social events during the year including “Meet the Faculty Night” when students can meet and talk to their professors in a relaxed and informal setting, a Christmas party, “Careers Night”, “Equinox” - a semi-formal graduation dinner, and many other pizza evenings and pub nights. GESS has an executive committee with representatives from first to fourth years - sign up to be a member of GESS as soon as you can.
