Welcome to the School of Geography & Earth Sciences Outreach at McMaster!

The School of Geography and Earth Sciences is committed to strong community links. Many of these links are enhanced through programs we provide in conjunction with local elementary and secondary schools.

The School of Geography and Earth Sciences formalized a High School and Community Outreach Program in the summer of 2006. We hope to promote a higher awareness of Geography and Earth Sciences and to educate teachers and students on how these disciplines impact society. Your school/class is invited to participate in any of our activities free of charge. Updates to the programs and more detailed information can be found within the SGES Community Outreach web pages.

The Spotlight is an on-line series focused on the people, research, and events in the Faculty of Science at McMaster University.
