Journal Club

Every graduate student must present at Journal Club once every academic year. The schedule for Journal Club is determined in early September. If you are not available on your scheduled day, it is your responsibility to contact another presenter and arrange to switch dates.

Each presenter will choose a journal article related to medical physics but outside of the presenter's own field of research. The article should be relatively recent. You need JavaScript enabled to view it at least one week before the presentation day.

Presenters should prepare a 10 minute presentation which will be followed by approximately 5 minutes of questions and discussion.

Symposium

Every graduate student (excepting first year masters and phd students) are required to present their work in progress once every academic year. The schedule for Symposium is determined in early September. If you are not available on your scheduled day, it is your responsibility to contact another presenter and arrange to switch dates.

Presentations should be approximately 30 minutes long, followed by 10-15 minutes of questions from the audience.
