Introduction

The Department is pleased to offer a new Honours Medical Physics program. We have created an exciting curriculum to give our students the strong background in biology, physiology, math, and physics they need to understand research at the boundaries where Medicine and Physics meet. Through the program, students will learn of advancements in the ever-evolving field of Medical Physics such as cancer treatments with radiation, radiation safety at nuclear reactor sites, radiation interactions in the environment, clinical imaging, and photodynamic therapy.

Entry Requirements

Completion of any Level 1 program with a Cumulative Average (CA) of at least 6.0 including:

1. MATH 1B03 must be completed by the end of Level 2. Completion in Level 1 is strongly recommended.
2. MED PHYS 1E03 must be completed by the end of Level 2. Completion in Level 1 is strongly recommended.
3. KIN 1Y03 and 1YY3 must be completed by the end of Level 2.
