(starting in 2011)IntroductionThe Department is pleased to offer a new Honours Medical Physics program. We have created an exciting curriculum to give our students the strong background in biology, physiology, math, and physics they need to understand research at the boundaries where Medicine and Physics meet. Through the program, students will learn of advancements in the ever-evolving field of Medical Physics such as cancer treatments with radiation, radiation safety at nuclear reactor sites, radiation interactions in the environment, clinical imaging, and photodynamic therapy.
