Applied Science PlacementThese courses are a great way to receive academic credit while gaining experience that is relevant to your program of study. Over the course of a semester, 60-120 hours of work will be completed at a placement of your choice. This opportunity provides insight into career options while combining academic and professional experience. Career Field ExperienceGain work-related experience during Reading Week by participating in a Career Field Experience. Placements are normally 3 to 5 days in length, with the start and finish time determined by the employer. During the placement you will have the opportunity to meet with different staff members and/or departments to broaden your understanding of the career field.
