Getting to Hamilton
Air: Toronto's Pearson International Airport provides convenient linkages to airports
worldwide, with 40 airlines serving Pearson International Airport (YYZ). From the airport

well as information about airport terminals, shops, and Customs and Immigration.
For those individuals traveling in Canada, WestJet offers convenient links to selected
destinations via Hamilton's Airport. FlyGlobespan also offers season services from UK
destinations.
Entry Into Canada
From the United States: U.S.-born citizens must carry a passport; naturalized citizens
need naturalization certificates with photo I.D.; permanent residents (who are not citizens)
need an alien-registration card.
From Countries Other Than the United States: In general, passports are required. However,
visitors from countries other than the U.S. should call for further information:

Getting from the Airport to McMaster University
Both Pearson and Hamilton airports offer a number of options for getting from the airport
to McMaster University. Additional details can be found on the airport webpages.
Airways Transit
Airways Transit can offer door-to-door service from Pearson/Hamilton airports to McMaster
University, and services should be pre-booked. The IMGS conference rate is $49 one-way from Pearson.

Taxis
Taxis are readily available at the airport and hotel. We do not recommend taking a taxi from
Toronto Pearson to Hamilton due to cost.
