My lab provides a dynamic and well-equipped environment for research on behavioural ecology of fish. I conduct both field and laboratory experiments to address questions concerning the evolution of parental care evolution, sexual selection, cooperative breeding, sperm competition and species invasions and extinctions. I welcome applications to join the Balshine Laboratory and currently there are several research opportunities in my laboratory. I also welcome students interested in independent study options, work study positions and volunteer positions.
Interested undergraduate, graduates and postdoctoral students should send a cover letter outlining their interests, a CV, a recent transcript and any other pertinent information to me by mail or email. For complete contact details click here.
