Dr. Altaf Arain

I am currently a postdoctoral Fellow at McMaster University in the School of Geography & Earth Sciences and I working with Dr. Altaf Arain. My research area is Hydro-statistics with a primary focus on the development and application of new mathematical models and statistical tools to describe, explain and predict extreme hydrological events. My current research involves the investigation of the limitations and applicability of various indices used to describe extreme weather events.
