Mission

Our mission is the discovery, communication and application of knowledge through the multi-disciplinary study of human movement, exercise and the relationships between physical activity and health. This approach incorporates biological, psychological, sociological, historical, organizational and professional practice perspectives. We aim to inspire a passion for lifelong learning and discovery, and strive to prepare our students to become leaders and valued members of society.

Congratulations to Michelle Ogrodnik, MSc candidate

Congratulations to Michelle Orgodnik, MSc Student, supervised by Dr. Jennifer Heisz on being select as 1 of two finalists in the 1 minute Research Blitz on Thursday March 2, 2017. Michelle will now go on to the national competition associated with the Bodies of Knowledge conference in May.  This award comes on the heals of Michelle being awarded the  Competitior's Choice award in the 5th Annual  Three Minute Thesis Competition on February 23, 2017.
