Our Research Areas
Kinesiology at McMaster is home to leading Canadian and international researchers who study human movement from a broad perspective using laboratory and field-based approaches to create a brighter world. Our work clusters in three main areas: integrative physiology, mechanics and control of movement, and neuroscience and behaviour. We have other faculty members who primarily focus on teaching and the pedagogy of learning.
The study of the acute and chronic effects of exercise and influence of physical training and nutrition
The study of movement, performance and the neuromechanical processes of the human body
