Career & Post Graduate


Due to the interdisciplinary approach of studies in the Life Sciences, our students are preparing for careers in a variety of different fields. Their ability to integrate information across disciplines and work collaboratively with peers prepares them to be leaders and innovators in a wide number of careers.

A degree in Life Sciences prepares you for:

  • postgraduate studies in health-related fields including: medicine/dentistry/physiotherapy/pharmacy
  • careers in law, policy, and ethics of the Life Sciences
  • careers in environmental research and consulting
  • careers in public awareness, media relations, journalism
  • postgraduate studies in education within the Life Sciences teaching or assisting at various levels: elementary, high school, college, or university
  • post-graduate studies in research in cross-disciplinary fields
