Life Sciences Student Society

The purpose of the Life Sciences Society (LSS) is to allow students to build and learn through collaboration. The LSS combines academic and social events for Life Sciences students in every year, allowing for interaction, networking and learning.

How Does This Help You?

The LSS is run by current Life Sciences students who love the program and want to help other students in the program or those pursuing the program. We are here to help you with whatever you may need, from choosing your courses, to looking into different career paths, to meeting new people with similar interests.

As a student-run organization, this group aims to help its members develop a strong network of connections with both peers, faculty and staff members. From academic programs such as our Peer Mentorship Program and McMaster Interdisciplinary Research Exposition (MIREx), thesis and graduate school information nights, to non-academic resources such as connections to volunteer organizations, social gatherings and fundraisers, the LSS is committed to providing Life Science students with opportunities to excel both academically and socially.
