Looking to jump-start your job search and have a leading edge on the competition? Skills for Career Success in Science, Science 2C00, is a non-credit course offered by SCCE to students in their second year and above. You will learn the employability skills you need to succeed.

What will you learn?

• Market key skills and target to employers
• Successfully write accomplishment statements to create an effective resume
• Prepare for an interview, and gain an intimate knowledge of the questions interviewers are likely to ask
• Network and conduct informational interviews to get your foot in the door

How and when to register

• Open to students in level 2 through 4
• Register on SOLAR prior to the academic term

What else should you know?

• Non-credit course, completion mark noted on transcript
• Can easily be taken concurrently with full course load
• One hour a week for seven weeks
• Small class sizes
• Pre-requisite for Internships, Co-op and Applied Science Placements
